5th International Yogini Award and Conference Successfully Concludes in Kashi
Varanasi, February 22, 2025 – The 5th International Yogini Award and Conference was successfully held at the Inter-University Centre for Teacher Education (IUCTE) in the sacred city of Kashi, Varanasi. The prestigious event celebrated the contributions of exceptional women in the field of yoga and was graced by eminent dignitaries, including Dr. Prem Narayan Singh, Director of IUCTE; Shri Shri Mahamandaleshwar Swami Narsingh Das Ji; Dr. Manoj Thakur Vyasa from Singapore; and Dr. Pandit Radhe Shyam Mishra Ji.
Despite the grand congregation at Kumbh Prayagraj, the event witnessed an impressive turnout. Thirty-three Yoginis from India and abroad were honored for their dedication and excellence in yoga. Participants represented various Indian states, including Sikkim, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, and Bihar, alongside international representatives from Los Angeles, Singapore, Japan, Texas, and Nepal.
A significant highlight of the conference was the interactive panel discussion, where 17 scholars presented their research papers on yoga and well-being. Among them, Sayaka Mori from Japan became emotional while recounting her transformative journey in yoga, resonating deeply with the audience.
Adding to the academic and literary significance of the event, Dr. Shailendra Sharma’s book, "Stress Management," along with a commemorative souvenir, was officially released. The conference concluded on a high note with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Anurag Pandey.
