More than 51,000 appointment letters were distributed by the PM during Rozgar Mela
Today, via video conferencing, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi gave out more than 51,000 employment letters to newly hired employees. There were 45 places around the nation where the Rozgar Mela was hosted. The Ministry of Home Affairs is filling positions in several central armed police forces (CAPFs) through this Rozgar Mela event, including the Delhi Police, the Indo Tibetan Border Police, the Central Industrial Security Force, the Shashtra Seema Bal, the Central Reserve Police Force, and the Border Security Force. The new hires, chosen from around the nation, will be working in a variety of organisations under the Ministry of Home Affairs in roles including Constable (General Duty), Sub-Inspector (General Duty), and Non-General Duty Cadre Posts.
The Prime Minister spoke on the event and congratulated the newly appointed individuals for being chosen as "Amrit Rakshak" during the Amrit Kaal. He referred to them as "Amrit Rakshak" since the new hires will not only serve but also defend the nation and its citizens. The Prime Minister declared, "You are "Amrit Rakshak" of this "Amrit Kaal."
The Prime Minister emphasised that the nation is proud and confident at this time the Rozgar Mela is taking place. He said that Chandrayaan 3 and the Pragyan Rover were always sending out the most recent Moon photos. The Prime Minister expressed his congratulations to all the new hires and their families at this momentous occasion and added that the new recruits are embarking on the most significant journey of their lives.
The government has taken the demands of the forces extremely seriously, according to the Prime Minister, who emphasised the responsibility that comes with choosing members of the Defence, security, and police forces. He made significant reforms to the way paramilitary forces are recruited. The hiring process has been sped up from the initial application to the final selection, and exams are now given in 13 regional languages rather than in English or Hindi as they were previously. He stated how laxing rules allowed for the recruitment of hundreds of tribal youngsters in Chhattisgarh's Naxal-affected districts. Additionally, he provided information regarding the specific quota for youth from border regions and extremism-affected areas.
Prime Minister Modi emphasised the new recruits' roles in securing the nation's development and stated that a safe environment under the rule of law speeds up progress. The prime minister used Uttar Pradesh as an illustration, pointing out that it once trailed behind in terms of growth and was also one of the top states for crime. He continued by saying that since the rule of law was established in Uttar Pradesh, the state has been able to reach new levels of growth and a new, fearless society is emerging.
He stated that the national government has spent more than 30 lakh crore on infrastructure development during the past nine years. This is boosting connectivity as well as the tourism and hospitality industries and generating new jobs.
According to the prime minister, the tourist industry will provide 13–14 crore employment and more than 20 lakh crore in economic output by 2030. These are not simply numbers, he insisted; by bringing about jobs, making life easier, and raising income, these changes would have an effect on the lives of regular people.
As a paramilitary force, paramilitary personnel should retain a learning attitude, and the Prime Minister highlighted this in his final remarks while highlighting the 600+ courses on the IGOT Karmayogi webpage. "On this portal, more than 20 lakh government employees have enrolled. The Prime Minister urged everyone to sign up for this platform and use its features. The Prime Minister concluded by emphasising the importance of physical health and of incorporating yoga into the everyday routines of the new recruits.
