NCM reacts against attacks on Gurudwara Karte Parwan in Kabul

The National Commission for Minorities (NCM) formed under NCM Act, 1992, has been, inter-alia, entrusted with the responsibility to look into specific complaints regarding deprivation of right and safeguards of Minorities and take up such matters with the appropriates authorities.
2. As reported in media, Gurudwara Karte Parwan in Kabul has been attacked by Afghan terrorists on 18.06.2022. Sikh population living in India and those who left Afghanistan are deeply concerned about the security of Property of Historical/Religious Gurdwaras in Afghanistan which may be usurped by anti-Sikh elements involved in attack on Sikhs religious places.
3. In view of above, Shri Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Chairman, NCM has requested Minister of External Affairs to take the matter of protection/safety of historical/ religious properties of Sikhs in Afghanistan with the Government of Afghanistan.
