National Webinar on Research and Innovations in Teacher Education Concludes with Inspiring Insights and Recognition of Excellence


Bhopal, 24-25 January 2025:

The two-day National Webinar on "Research and Innovations in Teacher Education" was inaugurated with impactful and motivating speeches by distinguished guests. The Chief Guest, Prof. Kalplata Pandey, Former Vice Chancellor of Jan Nayak Chandrashekhar University, Ballia (UP), delivered an inspiring address emphasizing the transformative role of research in teacher education. The Keynote Speaker, Prof. Seema Dhawan, Professor of Education at Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar Garhwal, provided valuable insights into innovative practices in the education sector.


The inaugural session was chaired by Prof. Asha Shukla, Former Vice Chancellor of BRAUSS and Managing Director of Asha Paras for Peace and Harmony Foundation, India.


Technical Sessions


Technical Session I was chaired by Prof. Nagendra Kumar, Faculty of Education, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and co-chaired by Prof. Jagdishwar Dwivedi, Former Head of the Department of Education, ADC University of Allahabad.


Subject experts included Prof. Mahesh Narayan Dixit (IASE, Gujarat Vidyapith, Ahmedabad) and Prof. Amit Kumar Jaiswal (Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University, Gopeshwar Chamoli).



Three research papers were presented during the technical session, highlighting innovative approaches and solutions in teacher education.


Awards and Recognition


The prestigious Asha Paras Excellence Research Paper Award was presented to Dr. Shreshta Mishra, Shailja P. Chikate, and R. Ramya, acknowledging their outstanding contributions to the field.


Coordination and Conclusion


The webinar sessions were expertly coordinated by Dr. Parvinder Hanspal, Professor & Dean, Department of Education, MATS University, Raipur, CG, and Dr. Amarjeet Singh, Faculty of Education, Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand.


The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Love Chawdikar, Executive Member of Asha Paras for Peace and Harmony Foundation, India.


The webinar served as a platform for thought leaders, educators, and researchers to exchange ideas and promote innovations in teacher education, contributing to the

advancement of the field.
