Once again the OVID cases are on the rise and this has come straight from the Ministry of Health which has expressed its concern over the developments. According to an update from the Health Ministry, India has reported over 7,447 fresh cases of pandemics in the last 24-hours.

Don't forget this is not Omicron. The question is why COVID is seeing a fresh outbreak. This also raises scare for the much expected Third Wave that was to hit the country around winters.

This development has created fresh worries for the government which had claimed to have overcome the cases largely after the vaccination drive and had patted their backs. (Till now 135.99 crore have been vaccinated). According to a medical professional on the condition of anonymity, said the situation is far from worse and no amount of vaccines can actually stop the new variants from attacking even those vaccinated. He said today even the west is scared as to how to fight this pandemic as nothing is constant.

Over 391 fatalities have taken the death toll to 4,76,869 across the country. Talking of official figures, the active cases at present stand at 86,415, which account for 0.25% of the total cases.

As per the official statistics, the present recovery rate stands at 98.38% with nearly 7,886 recoveries recorded over the 24-hour period. The total recovery rate has increased to 3,41,62,765.

Please follow COVID protocols and stay safe.
