Delhi University to organise 'Sankalp: Viksit Bharat @2047' under the campaign 'Viksit Bharat @2047' on Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti


 

The Value Addition Course Committee of University of Delhi is organizing a special event on 19th February, 2024, at 2:30 PM in the Convention Hall (Vice Chancellor's Office). The Vice Chancellor of of Delhi, Prof Yogesh Singh, will be the keynote speaker at the event.

The Value Addition Course Committee of University of Delhi, under the patronship and guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof Yogesh Singh is dedicated to raising awareness towards a 'Developed India' and promoting moral and social values in society. In continuation of this effort, the committee is organizing this event on Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was not only an exemplary warrior and ruler but also a visionary leader whose goal was to make Indian society leading in all fields. This event on his birth anniversary will also serve as a tribute to Shivaji.

The convener and chairperson of the Value Addition Course Committee, University of Delhi, Prof Niranjan Kumar, said that this event marks the initiative under the 'Viksit Bharat @2047' campaign in University of Delhi, guided by Vice Chancellor Prof Yogesh Singh, towards realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision. The event on Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti symbolizes a call for active participation of the youth towards a ‘Viksit’ India. The event will be attended by all high-ranking officials, including Deans, Directors, the Registrar, Heads of Departments, Principals, faculty members, teachers, researchers, students, and other distinguished members of society.
