G20 presidency of India has been open, aspirational, definite, and action-oriented: PM

The G20 Summit in New Delhi is expected to pave a new course for human-centered and inclusive growth, the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has expressed optimism. He emphasised how inclusive, ambitious, definite, and action-oriented India's G20 presidency has been, with the development concerns of the Global South being effectively voiced. 

The Prime Minister emphasised the significance of adopting Gandhi Ji's objective of helping the underprivileged and stressed that India placed significant focus on a human-centric approach to advancing progress. 

The Prime Minister announced that he will preside over sessions on "One Earth," "One Family," and "One Future," which will cover a variety of topics of top priority to the international community, including promoting strong, sustainable, inclusive, and balanced growth. In order to further strengthen the ties of friendship and collaboration, he also discussed scheduling bilateral talks with a number of leaders and Heads of Delegation. 

The Prime Minister also mentioned that on September 9, 2023, the President will hold a dinner for world leaders. On September 10, 2023, the leaders will honour Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. The G20 Leaders will express their united vision for a sustainable and just "One Future," working as "One Family" for a healthier "One Earth" at the Closing Ceremony on the same day.
