The evening rolled with a bouquet of colourful cultural programme. Folk songs like 'Hridh Majhare Rakhbo', 'Priti Kanthal r Atha' enthralled the audience followed by Soumitra Roy of the Bhoomi band singing popular numbers like 'Nazaun Nazaun', and their signature number 'Barandai Roddur' (originally sang by Surajit) that actually made the band Bhoomi popular. The evening concluded with the performance by Madhuri Dey who sang popular Bengali and Hindi numbers. The entire audience clapped with the beats of the iconic number 'Damadam Damadam Mast Kalandar' that became Runa Laila's signature after she mesmerized all at the Rabindra Rangashala in Delhi way back in the late 70's.
