"I started this business predominantly to explore myself. I spent my entire life as a housewife", were the inspiring words of Harjot Kaur Gambhir (Jyoti) who started her own business Delicious Bites in 2018. "My daughter got married. Son grew up. I too needed space for myself. My husband encouraged me immensely", added Jyoti Gambhir. She was at the 40th India International Trade Fair (IITF), Pragati Maidan with her homemade cookies under the branding Delicious Bites. As she prefers to call her brand healthy snacks.

Jyoti Gambhir who hails from Punjab specializes in cookies, and confectionary items. "We do not use any preservatives, chemicals, or colours. Our products are totally natural", added Jyoti who said when she began her business in 2018, her friends and relatives told her either her products would turn healthy or tasty but she calls her products 'tasty and healthy'.

Since its inception in 2018, Delicious Bites has traveled a long way beating all the odds and today her brand sells like hot cakes even outside Punjab. There are many more plans in the pipeline in order to take the brand to new heights but Jyoti is going slow due to the COVID pandemic. Incidentally, they launched their range of bread in 2020.

"We have done brisk business at the IITF and received an immense response. This has served our purpose as we predominantly participated in the fair to get exposure as it would help us grow our business beyond Punjab" smiled Jyoti who not only has the vision to take forward her business but can be an inspiration to many who dream of becoming entrepreneurs. Down to earth yet full of conviction to achieve her dreams.
