IITF 2021: Many projects in pipeline including Darbhanga Haat, says Shahnawaz Hussain

Bihar State Day was organised at the 40th India International Trade Fair (IITF), Pragati Maidan. Bihar is also this year's partner state. Bihar State Industry Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain was the chief guest on this occasion. The minister who has served various ministries earlier has done commendable work to boost industries in the state. Speaking on this occasion, Shahnawaz Hussain said, "Bihar is fast developing in all spheres. In the next eight to ten years the state will be the most developed state". 

The minister informed, there are plans to have new industries in Purnia, Arrah apart from a business centre in Darbhanga on the lines of Dilli Haat which will be named Darbhanga Haat. There are projects coming up across Gaya. "There are a lot of plans in the pipeline but it will take some time to materialize", said Hussain.   



The evening rolled with a colourful cultural bouquet of programmes from folk songs to humour poetry by Shambhu Shikhar who also took a pick at the organisers for not letting him have sufficient time to perform. However, he was later given time to perform. There were Bharatnatyam recital and also ghazal. The audience clapped to beats of popular Bhojpuri numbers.
