India successfully flight-tested the Helicopter launched Stand-off Anti-tank (SANT) missile from the Pokhran range in Rajasthan.

The SANT missile has been  designed and developed by the Research Centre Imarat (RCI), along with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

The SANT missile which is capable to hit targets at a distance of up to 10 kilometres is equipped with a millimetre waves (MMW) seeker that provides high precision strike capability from a safe distance.

India also successfully tested the Pinaka (Pinaka-ER) Multi Barrel Rocket Launcher System at the Pokhran range. The new rockets are capable to hit targets from a longer range with reduced length compared to the earlier variant.
