Indian Navy conducted its Annual Education Officers Enrichment Programme at New Delhi

On October 5 and 6, 2023, Indian Navy held its Annual Education Officers Enrichment Programme in New Delhi. R Adm Rajvir Singh, the principal of the Indian Naval Academy, Commodore G Rambabu, the Commodore (Naval Education), and other top officials from the IN's Education Branch also attended the programme. This program's major goal was to debate current affairs and branch-related policy initiatives in order to increase the branch's operational effectiveness in support of IN's growth and development.

The National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) and the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) were invited to participate in this programme as guest speakers to present lectures on the most recent advancements in education, especially higher education. Additionally, lecturers on timely and current issues were given at Naval Headquarters by speakers from sister services, other educational institutions, and other Directorates. VAdm K. Swaminathan, Chief of Personnel & Controller of Personnel Services, praised recent efforts by the Directorate of Naval Education and the branch's function in the areas of education, training, and the welfare of Naval personnel in his closing remarks. He urged the delegates to continue exercising strong leadership in order to shape the branch in accordance with the IN's constantly changing role.
