Fundamentalists trying to spread unrest by instigating religious sentiments have been one of the prime reasons behind riots and religious scuffles. These fanatics are sadists who find pleasure in such things. The recent Dharam Sansad held in Haridwar was such an initiative to churn the dormant sentiments but their uncanny initiatives could not turn successful as like-minded people across all walks of life not only carried protest campaigns on social media platforms but took to streets to convey the secular message. These fringe elements have no religion other than being fanatics.

Two neighbours of Imam Abdul Hasib, who conducted Friday namaz had forced him to chant 'Jai Shree Ram'. The shameful incident took place in Sector 40, Gurgaon in Haryana. The incident did not end here but the two people had even abused and threatened the maulvi with dire consequences if he complained. The incident attracted the attention of the PRESS compelling the administration to take action. The two accused were booked under IPC sections 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 506 (criminal intimidation), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race), 295 A (deliberate and malicious acts), 34 (common intention).
