New Delhi witnessed the 21st meeting of the India-France Military Subcommittee

On October 16-17, 2023, the India-France Military Sub Committee (MSC) met for the 21st time at the Air Force Station in New Delhi. Air Vice Marshal Ashish Vohra, Assistant Chief of Integrated Staff (Military Cooperation) at HQ IDS, co-chaired the meeting from the Indian side, and Major General Eric Peltier, General Officer, International Military Relations of the Joint Staff, represented the French side.

The India-France MSC is a forum intended to advance defence cooperation between the two countries through frequent talks at strategic and operational levels between the French Armed Forces' HQ, Integrated Defence Staff, and Joint Staff HQ.

The gathering was held in a cheerful, warm, and amicable environment. The discussions centred on new initiatives within the framework of existing bilateral defence cooperation mechanisms, as well as improving existing defence partnerships.
