In an unprecedented move to honor the innovators and change-makers of India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to present the first-ever National Creators Award on March 8, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This landmark event, scheduled for 10:30 AM, not only signifies a monumental recognition of creativity across a plethora of domains but also marks a pivotal moment in celebrating the spirit of innovation that pervades the nation.


The National Creators Award stands as a testament to excellence and impactful contributions in various fields including storytelling, social change advocacy, environmental sustainability, education, and gaming, among others. Designed as a catalyst for leveraging creativity to foster positive societal transformation, the award has captured the imagination of the nation, evidenced by the remarkable level of public participation it has garnered.


With over 1.5 lakh nominations received across 20 distinct categories, followed by a robust voting phase where around 10 lakh votes were cast, the awards have highlighted the profound connection between digital creators and their audience. Ultimately, 23 winners were chosen, a list that includes three international creators, underscoring the global reach and influence of the award. This enthusiastic public engagement underscores the award's significance as a true reflection of the people's voice and choice.


Categories for the award span a diverse range of interests and impacts, from the Best Storyteller Award, The Disruptor of the Year, and Celebrity Creator of the Year to the Green Champion Award and Best Creator for Social Change. Additional categories recognize the Most Impactful Agri Creator, Cultural Ambassador of the Year, International Creator Award, and Best Travel Creator Award, among others, covering a wide spectrum of creativity and innovation.
