Union Minister Jitendra Singh evaluates the Special Campaign 3.0's first week's accomplishments

Jitendra Singh, the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy, and Space, reviewed the results of week one of the Special Campaign 3.0 being carried out in all Indian government offices, and he was pleased with the progress made in reducing pendency and institutionalising Swacchata between October 2 and October 7, 2023.

According to Jitendra Singh, Ministries, Departments, and their field/outstation offices are all reporting high levels of engagement. He emphasised once more that the campaign's main objective is to cover offices with public interaction. He asked Ministries and Departments to undertake the Campaign using a saturation approach in order to reach all outlying offices, defence facilities, and PSUs around the nation.

In its first week, the Special Campaign 3.0 has been comprehensive in scope and has attracted significant involvement from offices all around the nation. More than 42,000 websites have been covered, and all Ministries and Departments have sent out 4,000 tweets detailing the campaign's advancement in field offices, PSUs, defence establishments, missions, and posts. A massive movement for Swacchata has been established at government offices thanks to the efforts of thousands of employees and citizens.

Cabinet Ministers, Ministers of State, and Secretaries to the Government of India have studied The Special Campaign 3.0 and are providing leadership and guidance in implementation. In the first week of the implementation phase, the Department of Posts, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the Department of School Education and Literacy, the Department of Military Affairs, the Department of Fertilisers, and 8652 sites all carried out cleanliness campaigns.

Every day, the progress of Special Campaign 3.0 is tracked on a special website (https://scdpm.nic.in/). Under the chairmanship of Secretary DARPG, review meetings are regularly held with nodal officers to assess the campaign's progress. With more than 4,000 tweets from Ministries/Departments, 250 tweets from the DARPG handle, 300 infographics on the #SpecialCampaign3.0, and the release of 115 PIB statements, the Special Campaign 3.0 has seen great momentum on social media.

Jitendra Singh praised the Special Campaign for reducing pendency throughout the years and urged all officials to keep up the momentum to hit the 50% target by the conclusion of Week 2. The Special Campaign 3.0 ends on October 31, 2023, and the Evaluation phase starts the first week of November.
