Patna's Prodigies Lead the Way in ACAD
Shraddha Shree, representing Don Bosco Academy in Patna, clinched the national top spot in the ACAD category for the second successive month. Her achievement is closely followed by Anusha Kumar from DPS Patna, who secured the second position, and Bindusri N from Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1, Tirupaty, who made it to the third national spot.
Continued Success for Aryan Singh and Samruddhi Salgaonkar in ACAD Plus
In the ACAD Plus category, tailored for college students, Aryan Singh from IIT Kanpur retained the coveted National Winner title. Samruddhi Salgaonkar of Goa Dental College ascended to second place, up from her previous third-place finish. Shyam Krishna Shenoy from Virginia Tech, USA, captured the third position, showcasing the international reach and competitive spirit of the contest.
Veteran Cruciverbalist R Nagendra Prasad Sets a High Score
In an impressive display of skill and experience, R Nagendra Prasad from Bengaluru not only dominated the ACAD Senior's leaderboard but also secured the highest score of 33,994 across all contest variants. The senior category saw Mukundala Balasubramanyam from Hyderabad and SS Parthsarthy from Bengaluru as the first and second runners-up, respectively.
The ACAD Cryptic Crossword Contest offers a daily brain-teasing challenge to participants across three categories: ACAD for school students, ACAD Plus for college attendees, and ACAD Seniors for those aged 60 and above.
